This is the sealed style carrier for the LiquidFyre 808 Camera Shroud. The sealed carrier design provides a seal between the airframe and carrier and can be installed even where it will be directly exposed to ejection gasses. Note: this does not provide a seal against water or other contaminants from outside of the rocket that could still damage the camera.

All of our camera carriers are made from solid CNC machined linen phenolic making them lightweight and extremely durable with a consistent precision fit. They are designed to be easily transferable between rockets of the same diameter. The mounting threads are reinforced with stainless steel helical inserts and will not wear out with repeated mounting and dismounting.

LiquidFyre 808 camera shrouds are currently available in 2" (54mm), 3" and 4" sizes. Please see images on the kit product page for space allocation. Careful consideration of component layout should be used with the camera in 3" or smaller av-bays. In the 54mm size we recommend mounting the camera in the nose cone using a switchband to extend the cone.
